i drive the Mazda 787b, Ferrari F40 and Nissan Fairlady Z. the DBR9 is nice, but not for me

Hi, why do you said that?
Can you describe the differences between the model you're driving and the DBR9?
I had a chance to try the Tellurico's Nissan and the 787b at Nanorace, both completely stock.
I like the stability of the nissan,very low and wide body, but i found very difficult to drive in the tight turns, it always suffer of understeer...another problem is the clearance from the ground...
I felt much better with the 787b, probably due to the difference between the front (18) and the rear wheels (20), it turns more quickly, and it has the same stability....
I own a 911 Gt3 and that's another story i like it in a small layouts but is very easy to roll

i look forward to try your "Nanotrax race spec" DBR9 in the Verona race!

the DBR9 is an excellent car, the only reason i don't have one is another club member (a customer) wanted to drive it and i wanted to let him have the honor. i then opted for the Nissan Fairlady Z instead. that is a good car as well, but i prefer the DBR9, C6-R or 787b over all others.



its over/understeer problem has to be resolved using a combination of 25-35 degree compound tires (front) and 6-8 degree compound tires (rear). the suspension should tuned properly to fit the surface and a damper kit is a must!



the 787b is my best car and to me has the best overall handling but its specs are similar to the C6-R and DBR9 so all 3 should give you a competitive advantage over others (imo). i have a 911 GT3 also but its not fit for competing with the other cars i've mentioned.

I will have to race with the GT3 do you find a good set-up for it?
i use 45 front-8 post tires, bearings and ball differencial.
I shoud try a damper kit! do you prefer X-power or atomic?

you'll definitely need a damper kit with the 911 GT3. i prefer X-Power's SSG-DPS Kit but the new Kyosho Friction Shock is now available so that may be even better (i haven't tried that one yet). i'd go with 35F/8R (best overall traction for long finals). add aluminum parts for extra weight and stability + change your gearing for less bottom end (32/7 or 34/7).

yes, the XP spurs are a drop-in replacement BUT you must use the XP pinion/motor gears as they are a different pitch from Kyosho's gears.
