Have you guys tried these?

The QteQ, RR, PN diff combo now weighs in at only 5.0 grams! That is just incredible. Lighter than the stock gear diff.

Also, the new RR front end works incredibly good. Adding this much caster to your car gives an incredibly forgiving car.

Hi BankenZ!

I have diff combo you mentioned and also RR front end! Just mounted two days ago, but don't yet tested on track!
I have had some difficulties in assembling the diff, becsuse as explained in RR tutorial i have to glue qteq diff parts with diff plates and this is a little hard, also because these two parts doesn't prefectly fits togheter.... even after using glasspaper...
Any suggestion?
For now, i'm using a combination on PN Ultra light diff and RR diff parts as ceramic balls, high quality ORing and high speed ball bearing... i still don't have the new V2 RR spur gear, so i'm using the limited slip delrin spur gear from PN... what do you think about this combination?

Talking about the front end, i started with 2 degress of camber and 4 degrees of caster, but obviously i have to test it.

Hi.
On our high grip surface, I have found a camber setting of -1 to be the best. For caster I always use max of whats possible. 4 degrees really rocks on the MR-03.

As for the diff assembly. What diff plates are you using?
I have used Kyosho, and the Lightweight from Reflex. Both of these fits fine.
Maybe you have D cut plates? These will not fit.

I find it is the best to glue them to the QteQ diff parts.
I have a diff tutorial on my blog also. maybe this could help?

I think the combo you have should be very good, but I would maybe think of changing the spur to an even lighter one. You will notice the difference at once! The lightweight diff assembly really helps with adding more motor brake (less rotating mass), and also spool up faster. The acceleration is incredible.

Rune
